Shiftaigency — AI automation for solopreneurs and small businesses

Vol. 1 · No. 1 Toronto · Fall 2026 Automation & AI training for small business Free proposal inside

Less admin. More business.

Shift AIgency does two things for solopreneurs and small businesses. We build the automation that takes accounting and office administration off your desk, and we train you to run AI models to generate leads and marketing campaigns.

Lower overhead frees up the time and budget for strategic revenue growth.

01 · We build the automation

Your revenue, books, and your inbox, running on a schedule

We start with the hours you already spend. Then we automate the parts that behave the same way every time — invoices, receipts, reconciliation, email, scheduling, filing, lead generation — and connect a purpose-built assistant for the parts that need judgment but not yours. You keep the decisions. The machine keeps the schedule.

10×

The potential on increased efforts and revenue growth resulting from automation of processes and marketing.

Savings

Measurable results, in the same hours-and-dollars units we started with.

Accounting, administration

Invoices and reminders go out on their own. Receipts and bills are captured, coded and reconciled daily. Quotes, purchase orders and statements are filed. Month-end becomes a review, not a reconstruction. Emails monitored - read, filed, replies drafted for approval, and send. AI check monitored for tasks execution.

Lead Generation

We build the pipeline that finds prospects who match your best clients, researches each one, and customize an outreach campaign. Every conversation lands in your calendar or CRM with the context attached — so you spend your time on the calls, not the chasing.

Marketing

An AI agent that qualifies clients!
One assistant that knows your services, pricing, your files and your process. It drafts quotes for client engagement, answer routine questions, and leverages your brand on social media for recognition.

How an engagement runs

The four steps to automation

Step 1

Defining workflow

A short intake call, then an audit of where the bookkeeping and admin hours actually go. We write the baseline down.

Step 2

Build

Automations go live one flow at a time, on the tools you already use. Quick wins ship first.

Step 3

Run and train

The system runs a full cycle. You and your team learn to operate and adjust it — the training half of the work.

Step 4

Audit and report

Hours saved and dollars shifted, against the week-one baseline. Then we agree what to automate next.

02 · We train you to run AI

Automation training and support, included

Every engagement includes up to ten hours of training and technical support, so nobody is left alone with a new system. We walk your team through each automation we build — what it does, how to adjust it, and what to check when something looks off — in plain language, on your real work.

The hours carry on after launch. Use them for questions as they come up, for changes in workflow or for coaching on running AI agents.

03 · Your proposal

Let's get you a proposal

Tell us what is taking the most time. We reply within one business day with a call time, and within the week with a written proposal — scope, price and the result we expect inside two to three months.

Step 01

A short intake call to understand the business, the goals and which hours are hurting.

Step 02

We audit your bookkeeping and admin workflow and surface the quick wins — specific, costed, no fluff.

Step 03

If we are a fit, you receive a written proposal with scope, price and the measurable result we commit to.

Thank you. Your request is in, and we will reply within one business day.

Workshops

Prompt your ideas, build for revenue

These hands-on Saturday workshops are for people with an idea, or a strong interest in taking their use of AI further. You work on your own project with guidance, and leave with something running that you can use in your business.

Date Workshop Format & location Time Reserve
Agenda · four hours

We build one real automation together, start to finish: an invoice arrives in the company inbox and lands in QuickBooks as a coded bill, with you approving rather than typing. You leave with it running on your own account.

Claude Cowork, orientedProjects, files and connected apps — where your data lives while Claude works, and what stays private. We set up the workspace we use all session.
Reading the invoicePoint Claude at the inbox, have it pull the PDF, and extract vendor, invoice number, date, subtotal, tax and total. Prompts that survive a supplier changing their layout.
Coding it like a bookkeeperMatch the vendor to a QuickBooks supplier, pick the expense account and tax code, and handle the awkward cases — partial payments, credits, duplicates, receipts with no invoice.
Entering it in QuickBooksWrite the bill into QuickBooks with the file attached, then reconcile against the bank feed. We do it manually once, then hand the steps to the automation.
Putting it on a scheduleTrigger on new mail, run unattended, and route anything uncertain to you for a one-click approval instead of guessing.
Checks, costs and your next buildWhat to review weekly, how to spot a silent failure, what the tokens actually cost per invoice, and a written plan for the second automation.

Bring a laptop, access to your inbox and QuickBooks (a sample company file is fine), and two or three real supplier invoices.

A working brand engine: research your market, fix your voice, and produce a week of posts you would actually publish and monetize — then keep it running.

Grok, orientedWhere Grok is strongest, how live search changes what you can ask, and setting up the workspace.
Reading your marketFind what your customers are already saying, which accounts matter, and where the gaps in your category are.
Fixing your voiceTurn your own writing into a reusable voice brief, then test it until drafts stop sounding generic.
A week of postsProduce and edit a publishable week — long posts, short posts, replies — with a review step you control.
Keeping it runningA weekly cadence that takes twenty minutes, and what to measure.

Bring a laptop, your current social accounts, and a few pieces of writing that sound like you.

The question most small companies ask: my site looks dated, how do I modernise it without hiring an agency? We answer it by rebuilding yours in the session — AI writes and structures the pages, you keep editorial control, and we add motion where it earns its place. No page builder subscription, no developer.

What makes a site read as datedType, spacing, stock imagery and layout habits that age a page — judged against your own site. We pick the three pages worth rebuilding and leave the rest alone.
Let the model write the structureFeed it your services, prices and proof, and have it draft the page order, headings and calls to action. Then you cut — the model over-writes, and editing is the skill we practise.
Generate the design, keep the brandProduce a modern layout from a written brief: one typeface pairing, two colours, real whitespace. How to describe taste to a model, and how to stop it defaulting to the same generic template.
Animation that helps, not decoratesScroll reveals, a hero that assembles itself, hover states that confirm a click, numbers that count up. Where motion guides attention — and where it slows the page or trips accessibility settings.
Make it work on a phone, and fastResponsive behaviour at every breakpoint, image weight, and the checks that keep the animation smooth on a mid-range phone.
Publish it, then keep it currentPush to your existing domain and host, add a form that qualifies enquiries, and take away a short routine for updating copy yourself.

Bring a laptop, your domain and host login, any logo or photographs you want used, and the two or three sites whose look you envy.

A note from the founder

A note from the founder
“My background is finance and technology: accounting, project management and administration on one hand, systems and automation on the other.”

I have spent my career on both sides of a small business — the finance side, where every hour of admin has a cost, and the technology side, where that cost is usually fixable. Bringing the two together is the most exciting and rewarding thing I do.

Shift AIgency works with solopreneurs and small businesses across Ontario. Every engagement is reported in the units you already care about: hours back, dollars saved, and what they were reinvested in.
